Personal Experience
I know the U.S. immigration system because I’ve lived it step-by-step.
Born in Canada to a Greek immigrant father, I grew up respecting the power of a new beginning. But when I came to the United States, I experienced the process firsthand—moving from a student visa, to a work visa, to a family-based green card, and finally taking the oath as a U.S. citizen. I know the stress of tracking processing times, the endless burden of proof, and what it feels like to wait on an official answer.
Before focusing on immigration law, I served as a public defender in Queens, New York. That battle-tested courtroom experience gives my clients a distinct edge today. Because past encounters with law enforcement or criminal charges can quietly ruin an immigration case, my defense background allows me to analyze your record, spot hidden legal risks, and protect your status before issues arise.
I believe effective legal representation starts with direct, honest answers. In our initial consultation, we will review your complete history, candidly address your case's strengths and weaknesses, and build a clear, strategic roadmap to get you where you want to be.
